Rotini Spasagna

Whenever I need a quick and easy meal that everyone in the house enjoys, this is one of my favorite go-to's....and it's kid approved! Eat with a small garden salad and a breadstick on the side for a balanced dinner

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Cooking Oil
  • 2 pounds of Hamburger
  • Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 16 oz rotini noodles, cooked
  • 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:

  1. Add the oil to a large pan while it's heating up on medium-high heat
  2. When hot, add in minced onion, garlic salt and hamburger and cook until browned
  3. Once browned, turn to low and add cooked rotini noodles, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese
  4. Cover pan and cook on low for 5 minutes for the cheese to melt
  5. Uncover and enjoy - top with additional cheese for extra flavor
