What you may think being healthy means versus what it actually means
What does health mean to you?In today's world, especially with the influence of diet culture, we are taught that all it takes to be healthy is to eat right, move your body, and get down to the "perfect" weight.I'm here to tell you that health is SO MUCH MORE than what you eat, how you move your body, or your weight.Health is also:
- How you feel mentally and emotionally
- The energy you feel from day to day
- How you choose to cope with the stressors of every day life
- The support and connection you feel from others
- Enjoying the food you eat and wanting to feel good both physically and mentally from that food
- Finding ways to move your body in ways that work for you
- How you feel overall in your life
