Eat the Ice Cream!
On Saturday February 19th I celebrated National Mint Chocolate Day with my cozy mint colored sweater and a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream ππ¦Today I want to challenge you to practice mindful eating with a bowl of ice cream, or any other treat that sounds good to you, with no judgement towards yourself and while actually experiencing the food you are eatingThe important thing about mindful eating is to be fully present during your experience. Some questions to ask yourself while practicing mindful eating are:
What food actually sounds good to me?
How will the food I choose make me feel both physically and mentally?
How is this food making me feel while Iβm eating it?
Am I satisfied or could I keep eating?
How does this food look, taste, smell and feel?
Start to get curious about how your body feels when youβre eating food!
